Based in one of our offices you will be a key part of our growth strategy, ensuring existing customers get the most from our service and bring on new customers across the UK & Ireland.

 

Our customers are typically large office buildings, hotels, shopping centres and retail chains and we work with some of the biggest brands in the UK & Ireland.

Role : Business Development Executive / Account Manager

Base : Dublin, Belfast, Manchester or London.

Travel : Travel to customers locations across UK & Ireland

Customer facing : This role involved visiting customers locations across the UK and Ireland as well as a percentage of time on video conferencing.

Term : Full time.

 

The Role of Business Development Executive

 

1. Manage: You will be given a number of key clients to manage on a day to day basis, ensuring they are getting the most from our service and maintaining a positive relationship.

2. Growth: As a business developer you will seek out new customers for us to work with, and bring them through our sales journey.

3. Support: You will support our executive team on key presentations and management of large portfolio accounts.

This role is suited to a recent graduate or someone with 2-3 years sales or account management experience wishing to progress their career working with some of the UK & Irelands best brands.

In this role you will;

  • Manage an existing set of customers across multiple verticals

  • Develop a pipeline of new business and logos to CLEVERNET

  • Use social media to your advantage

  • Visit customer locations to discuss CLEVERNET services

  • Attend networking events

  • Use your time effectively

  • Support our exec team on larger portfolio clients

  • Work with our customers in both a pre-sale and build/maintain role to qualify fully their requirements & design and build a suitable commercial solution.

  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests.

  • Monitor client performance, making recommendations for improvements.

  • Follow internal processes, making process change recommendations as you go.

  • Be a strategic member of our team, advising and growing our solutions portfolio to help us grow and maintain our customer base and verticals.

  • Be confident with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

  • Constantly improve with self-learning.

Required skills;

  • A passion for technology and finding solutions for customers.

  • An understanding (post training) of our business model.

  • Start-up, hands on mentality.

  • Commercial accuman..

  • Customer first approach with a drive to get the job done.

  • Ability to problem solve and think on your feet

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to present a technical solution in a non technical, customer friendly manner.

  • Full EU driving license.

  • Legally allowed to work in UK & Ireland

  • Not afraid of failure

  • Experience in IoT or solution based selling.
