Role : Technical Project Manager (Energy)

Base : Dublin or London

Travel : This role requires an amount of time in customers buildings across the UK & Ireland.

Customer facing : This role involves a significant amount of contact with our customers.

Term : Full time.

 

This role requires a number of Technology Disciplines, coupled with the Mechanical, Electrical, BMS & Project Management expertise from the wider Contractor family.

This role is to ensure all intelligent building systems within a smart building communicate properly, they collaborate with the client and all project stakeholders to ensure systems will be accessible and usable while developing software layers for integration, aggregation and communication of the building systems.

As a Technical Project Manager:

Working as part of a highly technical team you will be responsible for the leading of projects aligning the team to deliver on specific elements of our service such as ontologies, technical submittal review, ensuring data migration is conducted in a security conscious manner aligned to our standards, programme development, liaising directly with clients, consultants Main Contractors and M&E teams alike.

  • Self-documentation of all technical development work.

  • Full compliance with company and customer security & safety systems.

  • Any other duties as required from time to time.

  • Business development through assistance in project design and delivery.

What you will need;

  • Prior experience in an M&E, Controls, Lighting or Software Project Management role.

  • Educated to Degree level with an emphasis on Mechanical, Electrical, Network or Software Engineering an advantage.

  • Excellent knowledge of M&E, lighting and controls systems.

  • Experience in leading teams aligned to Lean & Agile project management an advantage.

  • Ability to lead teams with vast array of skills across Software, Network & Building Services Engineering, Controls specialists and System Architects.

  • Good understanding of networking principles.

  • Knowledge of working in AWS, GCP and migration of data from building outputs to data lake an advantage.

  • Previous experience working with a Master Systems Integrator or Controls Specialist an advantage.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with both internal and external customers.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Extensive knowledge of Power BI

  • Working knowledge of LoRaWAN and other IoT communication methods.

Required

  • Up to date safepass or equivalent (or be prepared to obtain one)

  • Full UK or Irish driving licence

  • Smart buildings or IoT certification or relevant experience.
